Valparaiso University's creative journal, The Lighter, runs on the spirit and passion of 2-3 editors and a selection committee to vet submissions. After three years on the committee, I worked as an editor, running meetings, tailoring copy-edits, and dabbling in designing the graphics for the published book.
Valparaiso Fiction Review - copy editor

The Valparaiso Fiction Review, a regional publication of short fiction, publishes up-and-coming authors from across the country. Copy editors read and vet work, and later, do the nitty-gritty editing work to make it ready for publication.
